Independence is encouraged for this age range by practitioners supporting individuals in developing their confidence to manage their self-help skills.

Designated areas within this room are used at specific times of the day. For example, during meal/snack times, children are seated together to make these meal times a social occasion.

In addition to this space there is also a separate room for toileting and hand washing. Children are taken to use these facilities when appropriate and are taken to hand wash over the course of the day.

Little Stars have their own separate outdoor patio area, where resources and equipment are made available for the children to access during specific periods of the daily routine. They also have access to the main Nursery garden and the play yard as well.

A daily routine is followed in this room, however the staff will continue to respect and follow individual routines with regards to sleeping.

    • My child has been with them from a young age and they have made nursery a part of his life an routine and he loves and gets exited to go. The staff cannot be commended enough for their approach and dedication to the children. Well done and when he leaves to join mainstream school will be a sad day. Absolute superstars.

    • Osborne House is such a wonderful nursery. My son has been encouraged to explore his interests, made many friends and continues to thrive, with the guidance of the extremely caring and attentive staff. The preparation the older children are currently undergoing will ensure they are confident learners when they make the big move to school. I have recommended Osborne House to many parents and will continue to do so. Thank you to all for everything you do for my son.

    • My daughter just newly join the nursery. She always look forward attending during her slots and I can already see a bit of a change in her learning and development. In addition, the teachers are very supportive and knows what they are doing which is most important. Honestly, they are doing a fantastic job with the children. Lastly, hoping that my daughter makes good friendship with her co-class mates as she is quite a shy type.
