About Us

Osborne House Community Nursery is a registered charity run by a Board of Trustees. This Board have an investment in the nursery as they all have children who attend. We have been open since 1997 and are Ofsted registered.

Osborne House Community Nursery is a large Victorian detached stone building with large grounds. We are located in the heart of Hillsborough, close to the local amenities, such as shopping precinct, library and park. Tram and bus routes run close by the nursery.

We are open 51 weeks of the year, between the hours of 8am to 6pm. We close on Bank Holidays & the period between Christmas and New Year. Bank Holidays outside of the Christmas/New Year period are chargeable.

We aim to provide an enjoyable and stimulating, home from home environment for all children who attend our nursery.

We provide a welcoming, secure, happy and stimulating environment to enable children to grow and learn confidently through play.

All staff at Osborne House Community Nursery are dedicated to the care and education of babies and young children.

All staff are qualified to at least Level 3 NVQ in Childcare or an equivalent qualification, we also have apprentice students within the Nursery, who are undertaking training to gain their qualifications within this specialist field.
