About Osborne House Nursery

Putting children first in the community
  • Osborne House Community Nursery is based in the centre of Hillsborough, Sheffield, at the bottom of Minto Road. We welcome children from 3 months, to five years old.

We are open 51 weeks of the year, between the hours of 8am to 6pm. We close on Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.

Osborne House Community Nursery is a registered charity run by a Board of Trustees. The Board have an investment in the nursery as they all have children who attend or have attended the nursery.

We have developed our curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and we aim to provide a learning environment focused upon play, where all individual children are encouraged to develop to their full potential, in all areas of learning. Qualified Early Years Practitioners use their knowledge and experience of child development to observe and listen to individual child, to ensure that their needs are being met and to enable us to plan activities and experiences to encourage and enhance their learning.
