Welcome to Osborne House Community Nursery

Osborne House offers full day care in a setting that encourages your children's development through play and learning, starting from 3 months to 5 years. We have four different rooms that suit each stage of their development, meaning they'll continue to grow with other children of their age group and development level.

Set in a large Victorian building, with age ranges spread over two floors, we offer an incredible amount of varied outdoor play areas which give our children one of the best places to burn off excess energy and discover new abilities in the process.

Both our children have attended Osbourne House since they were babies. We have always found the staff to be friendly and attentive to the needs of the children in their care. They are great at coming up with imaginative and fun activities, which the children enjoy.

‘Both of our sons attend Osborne House and really enjoy there time there. All the staff are really friendly and competent and I know that our two sons are cared for in a safe and caring environment. We always receive feedback of our sons’ development and progress is assessed and documented on a regular basis. The standard of care is excellent and I would highly recommend the Nursery to other families.

“Lydia has been coming to the Nursery since she was 10 months old, and is now in pre-school. The staff have always been there to put my mind at ease with any concerns I have, and although I often leave an upset, clingy little girl in the morning, by the time I pick her up at night, she is full of smiles and stories of what she has been doing during the day. The staff are always friendly, and approachable, and I feel at ease knowing that she is in a safe and caring environment. I can’t recommend the Nursery or the staff highly enough.”

My eldest daughter came to this Nursery over 5 years ago and really enjoyed her time here, so it was my first choice for my new baby girl. Freya started when she was just over 5 months old and has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to the interaction with the other children and all the stimulation and encouragement she is given by the staff. She starts kicking her legs in excitement the minute we pull up in the car park in the morning and barely notices I have gone! Despite her being so much younger than the other children, she has fully participated in all the art and craft work – her chicken is a masterpiece- although I suspect she has had a little help. Recently she has been enjoying the baby yoga which, I believe, is helping her to start to stand and “cruise”
