Putting Children First in the Community

Osborne House Nursery offer full day care in a setting that encourages your children's development through play and learning, starting from 3 months to 5 years. We have four different rooms that suit each stage of their development, meaning they'll continue to grow with other children of their age group and development level.

We can’t recommend Osborne House Nursery highly enough. You gave our eldest, Ewan, such a good start in life that it should have been obvious to send William as soon as we needed childcare.
We tried other nurseries and childminders closer to where we live, but ended up sending William to Osborne House too when he was three because I just knew he would be happy here. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Nursery was even better than we remembered from our first time around.

Our eldest has been attending Osborne House for 3 years and loves it. Our youngest started last year in June and has settled in really well too. Our boys always come home from nursery seeming really happy and chatty after a fun filled day! The staff are so lovely and they use the Tapestry App so we get to see great photos and descriptions of their development and what they get up to. We chose Osborne House because it’s smaller than some other nurseries and we got a lovely feel about the place when we initially looked round. We would definitely recommend.

“Lydia has been coming to the Nursery since she was 10 months old, and is now in pre-school. The staff have always been there to put my mind at ease with any concerns I have, and although I often leave an upset, clingy little girl in the morning, by the time I pick her up at night, she is full of smiles and stories of what she has been doing during the day. The staff are always friendly, and approachable, and I feel at ease knowing that she is in a safe and caring environment. I can’t recommend the Nursery or the staff highly enough.”

My eldest daughter came to this Nursery over 5 years ago and really enjoyed her time here, so it was my first choice for my new baby girl. Freya started when she was just over 5 months old and has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to the interaction with the other children and all the stimulation and encouragement she is given by the staff. She starts kicking her legs in excitement the minute we pull up in the car park in the morning and barely notices I have gone! Despite her being so much younger than the other children, she has fully participated in all the art and craft work – her chicken is a masterpiece- although I suspect she has had a little help. Recently she has been enjoying the baby yoga which, I believe, is helping her to start to stand and “cruise”

Our son has attended Osborne a house since he was 8 months old. he has loved every minute the staff and the surroundings are lovely and there is a real family feel to it. I am sure his development has only been enhanced by his attendance. My son thoroughly enjoys his days at nursery and it will be a sad day when he leaves to attend school in September.
