Putting Children First in the Community

Osborne House Nursery offer full day care in a setting that encourages your children's development through play and learning, starting from 3 months to 5 years. We have four different rooms that suit each stage of their development, meaning they'll continue to grow with other children of their age group and development level.

“Our daughter has been at Osborne House Community Nursery since she was 20 months old (she is now 4). During this time she has enjoyed the wide range of activities and toys at Nursery which are frequently changed to maintain interest and has loved spending her days with the EYPs who are friendly, welcoming and attentive to the differing needs of each child. I feel Osborne House gives the kind of care to each child that you yourself give to your child and the experiences that you would never think of giving.”

Our daughter Sian has attended Osborne House Nursery for nearly a year now and we have been very happy with Sian’s progression. It is important for us as parents to know that Sian is in an environment where we know she will be able to develop and learn and have the ability to express herself. We knew straight away that Osborne house would provide such a surrounding. The staff have always been first class and have developed a loving and caring relationship with Sian and have always been able to give us feedback on how she is progressing at Nursery. I believe that it is important for Sian to develop relationships outside of the home and interact regularly with her peers and Osborne House has provided the ideal setting for this essential development. We have watched our daughter grow in confidence and I would like to thank all of the staff at Osborne House for their care and love for our daughter. I fully intend on sending our son James once he is ready.

My two year old started at Osborne House in January and has settled in brilliantly. We switched nurseries due to a house move and were nervous about the change as she was very happy at her previous nursery. Osborne House was recommended by a friend and I was impressed with them from our first contact onwards – all communication was friendly, informative and professional. The transition period was very well managed (especially given that we are in the middle of pandemic) – we were able to take things at my daughter’s pace and we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly she settled in. The staff are all absolutely lovely and my daughter comes home talking about them and all the fun she’s had. We are kept well informed about what she’s done during the day and the new things she’s learning and the skills she’s developing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Osborne House to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

Our son loves going to nursery at Osbourne House. The staff care so much about helping him have the best time. It’s been so hard during lockdown but the constant of nursery has been wonderful. Everyone is approachable, friendly and down to earth.

We can’t recommend Osborne House Nursery highly enough. You gave our eldest, Ewan, such a good start in life that it should have been obvious to send William as soon as we needed childcare.
We tried other nurseries and childminders closer to where we live, but ended up sending William to Osborne House too when he was three because I just knew he would be happy here. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Nursery was even better than we remembered from our first time around.
