Welcome to Osborne House Community Nursery

Osborne House offers full day care in a setting that encourages your children's development through play and learning, starting from 3 months to 5 years. We have four different rooms that suit each stage of their development, meaning they continue to grow with other children of their age group and development level.

Set in a large Victorian building with age ranges spread over two floors, we offer an incredible amount of varied outdoor play areas which give our children one of the best places to burn off excess energy and discover new abilities in the process.

My eldest daughter came to this Nursery over 5 years ago and really enjoyed her time here, so it was my first choice for my new baby girl. Freya started when she was just over 5 months old and has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to the interaction with the other children and all the stimulation and encouragement she is given by the staff. She starts kicking her legs in excitement the minute we pull up in the car park in the morning and barely notices I have gone! Despite her being so much younger than the other children, she has fully participated in all the art and craft work – her chicken is a masterpiece- although I suspect she has had a little help. Recently she has been enjoying the baby yoga which, I believe, is helping her to start to stand and “cruise”

‘Osborne House is a bright, friendly Nursery with staff who are all very caring and professional. The facilities are excellent and the layout is very good for allowing little ones to make friends, explore and play safely.

Our daughter Sian has attended Osborne House Nursery for nearly a year now and we have been very happy with Sian’s progression. It is important for us as parents to know that Sian is in an environment where we know she will be able to develop and learn and have the ability to express herself. We knew straight away that Osborne house would provide such a surrounding. The staff have always been first class and have developed a loving and caring relationship with Sian and have always been able to give us feedback on how she is progressing at Nursery. I believe that it is important for Sian to develop relationships outside of the home and interact regularly with her peers and Osborne House has provided the ideal setting for this essential development. We have watched our daughter grow in confidence and I would like to thank all of the staff at Osborne House for their care and love for our daughter. I fully intend on sending our son James once he is ready.

We can’t recommend Osborne House Nursery highly enough. You gave our eldest, Ewan, such a good start in life that it should have been obvious to send William as soon as we needed childcare.
We tried other nurseries and childminders closer to where we live, but ended up sending William to Osborne House too when he was three because I just knew he would be happy here. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Nursery was even better than we remembered from our first time around.
